Hopelessly Devoted Quilt Along

Hopelessly Devoted Quilt Along

Hey Quilting Friends! I've been commissioned to make my Hopelessly Devoted Quilt in a lovely lavender, and I thought this would be a great time to try my first quilt along as well. I mean, who doesn't want their very own version of this stunning quilt? If you're not familiar, a quilt along is when you sign up to make a quilt with a bunch of other cool quilters. You're able to cheer one another on, get tips and directions from the maker (me, in this case), and stay accountable to finish the project in a set amount of time.

The Hopelessly Devoted Quilt Along will begin on July 1st, 2024, and would aim to go 7 weeks. To participate, you would need to buy the pattern and RSVP for the quilt along using this form.

What you will need:

1. The pattern, which will give you size choices and show you how much fabric to buy for that choice.

2. 6 fabrics of your favoritest color that follow either a gradient or set color pattern (there are some examples in the pattern and on my Instagram).

3. Standard quilting tools—a rotary cutter, cutting mat, ruler of choice, sewing machine, iron and ironing board, and any other of your favorite items.

The quilt along will feature weekly emails to help you stay on track, and there will be loads of tips and tricks shown on my Instagram, @whipplehousequilting. Plus, my friend, Kait, of Knot and Thread has offered to be the longarm quilting sponsor. She has offered a discount on quilting services if you go with her for the quilting. I am excited to share this pattern with you all, and I hope to see you there and get to know you better.
